Two of Scooter Braun’s wunderkinds, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, have teamed up for the cutest ballad that this quarantine has ever seen. On Friday, May 8th, the pair dropped their newest single, “Stuck With U.” A beautiful ballad that makes you hug the ones you’re with a little tighter, whether it’s a significant other, a family member, friend, or your dog (shout out to Toulouse Grande), this song applies.
The last time we saw Ariana and Justin collaborate was on stage at Ariana’s 2019 headlining performance at Coachella. Justin surprised the audience (and even Ariana) by performing a song on the stage. Their vocals meshed together beautifully, Justin brought out the falsetto I remember fondly from his My World days and Ariana thankfully brought her famous whistle tones.
You could tell there was love behind this song and you can see it in their music video. Fans and celebrities got to take part with home videos of them dancing to the song. It brought a great personal element to the video. You could spot some familiar faces that include Steph and Ayesha Curry, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Demi Lovato and her boyfriend, Max Ehrich, and many more. Justin had adorable videos of him and his wife, Hailey Bieber walking a path near their home. And fans (including myself) flipped when Ariana confirmed her relationship, as her boyfriend, Dalton Gomez, made a sweet cameo at the end of the music video.
Stuck With U is a sweet reminder to call and hold onto the ones you love, especially in
uncertain times like these. And the song’s proceeds go to the First Responders Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that financially supports children who have lost a parent in the line of duty and fund educational programs operated by law enforcement and firefighting organizations.
