Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande Save Pop Music with "Rain on Me"

Lady Gaga’s 6th studio album, Chromatica, debuts May 29th and we couldn’t be more excited! The website meta description literally reads, “In Chromatica, no one is greater than another,” I mean…how can we not be excited? The vibe is pink and out of this world and the sound breathes a fresh air of pop, dance, and almost disco. She even has some astounding features on this album including; Elton John, BlackPink, and Ariana Grande.

Speaking of Ariana Grande...Lady Gaga and Grande dropped their single from Chromatica, “Rain on Me,” on Friday May 22nd. As soon as I turned the song on, I was already hooked. While it wasn’t what I was expecting, it was exactly what I needed. The dance pop anthem features unmatched vocals from each, with Lady Gaga giving a nod to voguing.

Especially with what the world is going through right now, this song hits home for me and I’m sure for a lot of other people as well. The main lyric in the chorus sings, “I’d rather be dry but at least I’m alive.” A great thing to consider, while the rain feels like it’s always pouring, at least I’m alive to feel the rain.

Another exciting step closer to Lady Gaga’s album Chromatica. And you can stream “Rain on Me” now!
